The Stress Sleep Relationship
How do you handle stress?
How do you adjust your workload?
How do you adjust your sleep amount?
Which suffers in favor of the other?
Increasing our workload is a typical response.
Decreasing our sleep amount is another.
Yet, the right move is the other way around.
Less sleep increases stress and exhaustion.
Exhaustion decreases productivity and quality.
This increases the amount of stress.

Meeting Honesty
How honest are you in appointments?
Why are you taking the meeting?
How will you best reach your goal?
What makes you be dishonest?
Often, we will lie to keep face,
yet the lies won’t help us attain our goal.
If you cannot be honest,
the meeting may be pointless.
You will set yourself up for failure.
And waste everyone’s time.

Relative Performance
How well do you judge your performance?
Do you take the type of task into account?
Do you take your respective skill level into account?
Do you take your experience into account?
We tend to compare apples with oranges.
On some things, we will perform amazingly.
On some things, we will perform abysmally.
Some things we will know how to do.
Some things we will do for the first time.
This all needs accounting when reviewing.

How You Perform
How often do you worry about your performance?
How much praise do you get for it?
How much do you praise yourself?
How much do you expect of yourself?
If you worry about your performance,
you are doing fine!
Non-performers tend not to worry at all.
If you worry, you are likely a top performer.
If others praise you, yet you don’t praise yourself,
your standards might be very high.
Recognize this, be kind to yourself,
and continue to own.

Self-Space
How much space do you have for yourself?
How often can you take space?
What do you do in this space?
How much do you need of it?
We all need space for ourselves.
Each of us needs different amounts.
Without space, we are not in tune.
Space for ourselves serves as a reset.
To make big decisions, you need space.
To know what you need, you need space.

Duvet Therapy
How often do you apply duvet therapy?
How often does your body scream for it?
What makes you feel like staying in bed?
How do you feel if you oblige it?
Duvet therapy should not be underestimated.
Some days, it is the only thing that helps.
Your body will tell you when it is time.
There is nothing wrong with it,
for when the body calls for it, you need it.
If you need it, you have deserved it.

Intoxication
How do you behave when intoxicated?
How often do you get intoxicated?
How often do you meet others who are?
How much patience do you have for them?
Most of us will have moments of intoxication.
Be it alcohol or some other drug.
We will meet others who are intoxicated.
And we will have to endure their behaviour.
Just as others have to endure our behaviour.
Be patient, stay polite, for they are not themselves.

Acting with Confidence
How confident do you act?
How directly do you communicate?
How much do you trust your instinct?
How much do you trust yourself?
Those who act in confidence perform better.
Confidence is a key ingredient in everything.
The ordinary confident will beat the brilliant unconfident.
Trust yourself when you make decisions,
and then perform the acts with confidence.
Results will come and show themselves.

Rhythm and Routines
What rhythm do you run on?
What are your routines?
How long have you had them for?
What is their value?
We all have our personal rhythm.
We all have our routines.
Sometimes our rhythm is outdated.
It might be ready for a change.
Our rhythm dictates our routines.
To unlock a different version of yourself,
change the rhythm you run on.

The Origin of Change
Where does change come from?
How often do you drive it?
How often do external factors drive it?
Which type of change do you prefer?
The origin of change can differ.
We can drive it, or external factors can.
Serendipity is a major driver of change.
Crisis is another major one.
Whatever the origin, it is up to you.
If you accept the change and what to make of it.

Get started already!
How readily do you get started?
How much do you need?
How much do you like to plan?
How often do you overthink?
Often, we overthink things.
Overthinking will lead to lethargy.
We believe we need more planning.
We believe we need more preparation.
Planning and preparation then never end.
It is time to start, one small step at a time.

Cooperation on whose terms?
How willingly do you cooperate?
How willingly do you compromise?
How willingly do you accept others’ terms?
Where do you draw the line and why?
Rarely can we work in a team on our terms.
We need to compromise most of the time.
Yet, don’t people please and accept their terms.
Cooperation is like a dance,
to move in tandem, we need to be in sync.

The Unsuspected Culprits
How well do you identify the culprits?
How often are they unsuspected?
How long does it take you to figure them out?
How readily do you jump at the usual suspect?
The usual suspect is not always at fault.
Sometimes, the culprit is unsuspected.
Take a moment before designating the culprit.
The culprit need not be a person.
The culprit need not do it on purpose.
The culprit is simply the origin of your trouble.

Oh The Details
How often do details matter?
How often are they the point of failure?
How often have hours of work been for naught?
How do you feel about details’ importance?
The devil is in the details.
Often, things will fail due to the finer details.
Often, many hours of work will be wasted.
Details are important, yet often we don’t bother.
Sometimes we don’t need to,
Yet sometimes they are crucial.

Occasional Megalomania
How often do you engage in megalomania?
What happens if you do?
How do you feel when you do?
How big do you think in general?
The occasional episode of megalomania is healthy.
Megalomania can help us to think bigger.
It helps us to be audacious and courageous.
Most of the time, we think too timidly.
We cannot see what is possible for us.
Occasional Megalomania is the solution.

Forgotten Malice
How often do you experience malice?
How often is it done on purpose?
How often is its source forgetfulness?
Can it really be malice if it is unintentional?
We are often misstreated unintentionally.
Often, people forget our preferences or needs.
Thus, there is no malice in the action,
Yet to us, it feels like it is intentional.
Intent cannot be seen from an action.
You will need to infer and guess.

The Self and Goals
How well do you know yourself?
How often do you achieve your goals?
How do you feel once you do?
How sure are you that they are the right goals?
Without knowing yourself well,
setting goals is a farce.
You will reach them, sure.
But are you moving in the right direction?
If not, reaching them will feel hollow.
Learn thyself before setting big goals.

Name Them
How well can you name your emotions?
How accurate are your feelings?
How quickly can you identify them?
How do you react to them?
Translating our emotions into feelings is hard.
For some more so than for others.
If you name your emotion, it becomes a feeling.
Yet, often those names elude us.
Without the name, they wreak havoc inside.
To set them free, they need that name.
30.08.2025
Forgetfulness
How often do you forget things?
How important are they?
What impact does it have on you?
What can you do to mitigate it?
We all forget things from time to time.
Some of it is important, most of it banal.
Forgetfulness has consequences.
Systems, structure and support can help.
What do you need to remember?

What we strive for
What do you strive for?
What is your head telling you?
What is your intuition telling you?
How much internal conflict do you have?
Often our heart yearns for one thing,
yet our head tells us to go for another.
This will create inner tension.
With this state, you will fail,
fail till you can align heart and mind.
Use your mind to support your heart.
